My suggestion: don't accompany food posts with F40 porn. I'm salivating double time.

I make many burger variations, but this is my old standby, from top to bottom:

Top half of pretzel bun
Sriracha mayo
caramelized onion
meunster cheese (melted on patty)
80/20 grass-fed beef patty
avocado slices
Sriracha mayo
Bottom pretzel bun

I like burgers with american cheese, bacon, a big fat deep fried onion ring, and sweet baby rays BBQ sauce.

In other words, I don't like to feel my arteries after I eat.

best burger I've ever had was one I made myself grinding my own meat, and topping it with a fried egg pineapple sriacha mayo and pickled beets it sounds crazy but is the best thing ever. usually I just want a burger with salt pepper mustard and cheese and pickles.

Cast iron pan is a must.

when you form the burger don't mix the meat just make the patty gently and put down, mixing it up too much will make it tough. Season both sides and only flip once, don't press the burger. Enjoy!

I'm using a grill, but that burger you described sounds strangely appetizing .

I think its called an aussie burger. and I think when I cooked mine it was on a grill as well. I would think all the flavors would just mix into a gross indistinct mass but its really amazing how each flavor stands out

Use a higher fat content meat. A lot of the grease drips out so if you use a low fat content it will dry out. (typical for any burger on the grill) for this one I like to make each patty a 1/2 pound. dice up some pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, onions. put the stuff in between 2 patties and pinch the edge closed. You can try using less beef but its hard to close it if there's too much stuff and it splits on the grill. just before you flip it, add A1 and saracha sauce, and a little bbq sauce. Only flip it twice, your really only supposed to flip it once but i like to get the crispy coat from the sauce on both sides and it doesn;t really seem to crisp if you put it on the first side before its warmed up on the grill. Its gutta cool long cuz its so thick so cook it on a low heat.

If you want to try something a little different but astoundingly tasty, try turkey burgers.

Unlike ground beef, ground turkey generally comes in only one package size: 1 1/3 pounds. For every package of ground turkey, mix in a single egg (raw), some finely diced garlic, some crushed croutons, about a tablespoon of cilantro, and your preferred grille seasoning. Grille those bastards of up, and top them with two slices of medium cheddar cheese, a healthy slathering of guacamole (fresh avocados are even better), lettuce, and tomato. I like sourdough hamburger buns, but onion hamburger buns work just fine.

If you like Blue Cheese, get some crumbled up blue cheese or gorgonzola and stuff that inside the burger while you are pattying them up. Or you can put some worcestershire in the burger while pattying then put bbq sauce, cheese and an onion ring on the top.

As well as a toasted bun, throw the bun on the grill for about a minute and a half before you take the burger off and it should be toasted about perfect.
